NOVEC Accepting Applications for 2025 Youth Tour

MANASSAS, Va. – Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative (NOVEC) is accepting applications for the 2025 Youth Tour in Washington, D.C. Youth Tour is a unique opportunity for high school students to represent the Co-op during an all-expense-paid trip to the nation’s capital, June 16 to 20, 2025. Participants will meet local legislators, visit historic monuments, learn about electric cooperatives and create lifelong friendships.

Students will join 2,000 students, chaperones, and staff delegates from 44 states for the five-day event, which is sponsored by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA).

Applicants must be public, private, or home-schooled current high school sophomores or juniors whose homes are served by NOVEC. Applications are due by Jan. 1, 2025, and may be found at www.novec.com/youthtour.
